Over the years, the Plaza has won many awards from local bodies as well as from the Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board. On the international level, the Plaza has won the FIABCI PRIX D'EXCELLENCE 1996 in the Retail Category. All these achievements were due to the many years of support from shoppers and also the strong relationship betwenn retailers and the mangement in working together towards the success of Sungei Wang Plaza.
